Sports Editor - Bryan, Ohio

The Bryan Times, an 8,500 family-owned daily in northwest Ohio, is seeking a Sports Editor to join its community-focused newsroom staff. We are looking for a experienced editor who can help find and tell the stories that are important to our readers.

Our local coverage is almost exclusively focused on nine area high schools. The department currently consists of the sports editor, one full-time reporter and numerous part-time correspondents. Additional editing help is provided by the news desk on particularly heavy nights.

In addition to being a strong reporter and writer, the successful candidate will also have design, copy editing and scheduling experience.

Bryan is a wonderful place to live, as reflected in its recent No. 1 ranking in a Best Towns in Ohio survey (for communities under 100,000).
