The Brenham Banner-Press, a 5,000 five day circulation newspaper is seeking a top notch Sports Editor to lead in one of the most dynamic sports communities in the state. This position will involve providing coverage for three high schools, as well as Blinn Jr. College.

As sports editor, you and your staff will be responsible for copy, photos, and design of the daily sports section, as well as several special sections throughout the year.

At least one year in a publishing and a working knowledge of InDesign is required.

Brenham is located one hour from Houston and Bryan-College Station, and two hours from Austin. We are member of Hartman Newspaper and offer a competitive salary, major medical, profit sharing and paid holidays and vacation.
