This job is in my mom's native area. She was born in Washingtonville, near Bloomsburg.
I'll ask her and see if she's got the lowdown.
(She may not .. she lives in Pensacola, Fla., now)
    (But I'll see.)
  2. Bllomsburg in Feb. or Pensacola? ??? I'll take the south right now....
  3. Sorry...Bloomsburg...Where's my editing skill going to these days!

Mom said she wasn't up on the goings and comings at the Bloomsburg paper.
She's been gone from that area now for 50 years.

    And electricity
  7. From what I understand, the position has been accepted by John Medeiros (sp?) of the Petersburg Progress-Index in Virginia.

Hasn't John posted on here in the past?

I'm pretty sure Medeiros used to work in Scranton FWIW.

You guys are correct. John has posted on this site in the past (usually when he's looking for a new hire). He also worked in Scranton. I don't think he had much hair then. Has even less now. John is happy to hear there is electricity in Pennsy.

    Hi, John!

Always wanted to use that line in a legit scenario.
