FWIW from HT chat w/ Korman:

"I (Korman) interviewed for SE on Tuesday (7/16). That info was already pretty public. I mean, I showed up at work in a suit instead of a shorts and Nikes. We have another candidate coming in early next week. Should know something not long after that."

So do we root for Korman, and the possibility of a job opening up at the H-T?

He is a sharp one - and it is my understanding he will be able to replace himself as a writer so be on the lookout for another job here.
    Congrats to Chris.

as posted, looks like they're going with a copy editor instead of a new writer, which seems odd.

I don't think that copy job is a sports position.

With Korman, what you see is what you get. I'm not close to him, by a long shot, but I'm really glad Bloomington picked him.
