    Do you live and breathe sports? Can you juggle a complicated schedule, direct reporters to get lively, insightful coverage, get the stories online quickly and create a bright, inviting print product? And do it again the next day? The Times Leader in Wilkes- Barre Pa. is looking for a sports editor to lead our staff of writers, copy editors and page designers. The winning candidate will be responsible for the content and production of daily sports section pages, special sections and tabs. The editor should have an understanding of page design and layout and the ability to write. Newspaper readers in Northeastern Pennsylvania have a voracious appetite for sports, from the pros to Penn State football to minor league hockey and baseball to scholastic and recreational teams.     Interned at this paper in the mid 1980s. Interesting newspaper history there. I was there for the 10-year(?) anniversary of famous strike. Paper's dumpster was lit on fire. Competition was fierce. Other guys wouldn't even talk to you. And God forgive you if you got beat on a story on your beat. You got an ass chewing like nowhere I've been since. Made me hustle.
    Great sports town
    Some great food in this town, too. Superb pizza on every corner.
