    Sports Digital Producer,
    The Sports Digital Producer will support the digital growth of the Los Angeles News Group sports department, reporting to the Sports Digital Director. This position will help produce the news of the day in a timely, thoughtful manner to give the best sports presentation on all our online and mobile channels. The ideal candidate will have strong local and national sports knowledge, bring versatility, be able to jump on good ideas, handle breaking news, and be part of the national conversation. Hours will include nights and weekends.
    The Los Angeles News Group includes the Los Angeles Daily News, Torrance Daily Breeze, Long Beach Press-Telegram, San Gabriel Valley Tribune, Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, San Bernardino Sun, Pasadena Star Tribune, Redlands Daily Facts and Whittier Daily News. Daily print circulation of about 450,000.
    Duties include:
    • Execute the daily sports digital plan
    • Produce sports content as stories are filed, building out packages with multimedia elements, links, and ensuring good SEO. This is approximately 30-40 stories per night.
    • Help execute a social media plan.
    • Produce live blogs.
    • Communicate and collaborate with Digital First Media sites across the country.
    • Check sites for proper display.
    • Create nightly report.
    • Help teach others in sports about proper digital workflow and skills.
