The Albuquerque Journal is looking for a sports page designer to join our talented, award-winning staff.

Candidates must know how to use InDesign. Knowledge of Photoshop is a plus.

    Some previous newspaper experience required.

The position involves primarily designing sports pages, but it will require designing other news pages as well.

We will consider recent graduates for this position who have had experience working on a college newspaper.

This job does involve working evening hours and working at least one weekend day.

The Albuquerque Journal is a family-owned newspaper and is the largest newspaper in New Mexico.

And since you won’t be spending all of your time at work, here are a few things you might want to know about Albuquerque: It’s a fun city with a lively entertainment scene. It’s a place where it’s almost always sunny (the city averages 310 days of sunshine per year). It doesn’t get too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter.
