We're looking for skilled sports copy editors and designers to work in the Louisville Design Studio. The right candidate is comfortable laying out pages, editing and writing headlines. We produce 23 newspapers in the Studio, and continue to grow responsibilities. The Studio is a great environment in which to work, edit and design. Here's what you can expect here:

A sports paradise: We cover teams in the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL, as well as major colleges and tons of high schools. Is it big-name sporting events you’re looking for? How about the Kentucky Derby, Indy 500, back-to-back NCAA basketball title runs by Kentucky and Louisville in 2012-13, defending NCAA football champion Ohio State, NFL coverage of the Colts, Bengals and Lions, as well as recent MLB playoff runs by the Reds and Tigers.

A creative learning space: In the Studio we have monthly training and coaching sessions from basic to expert skills. We provide what you need to develop into a better editor and designer in a creative atmosphere.

Room to grow: We produce papers large and small. You'll always have opportunity to move to bigger and better products. With the many products we produce, we'll always have great spaces to produce good work. Our marquee products are USA TODAY, The Cincinnati Enquirer, The Indianapolis Star and the Louisville Courier-Journal, but we also have fantastic work happening on smaller products as well.

Great people: We're laid back, fun, and filled with energetic people exploring a fantastic city together.

The place: Speaking of this city, it's vibrant, beautiful, and full of fantastic food, bars, pubs, galleries, parks and nightlife. It's also super affordable to live here despite being an awesome place - the value is fantastic. The scene here is great. Lonely Planet named Louisville the top place to visit in 2013 Top 10 US travel destinations for 2013 - Lonely Planet

We're growing: Join a group that's still building, and improving every day.
