Message to the NYP's HR department: be wary of the blood-soaked FedEx package you're about to get.

I wanna write this hed for a stand-alone canine photo:

    Dog Gambit

I actually asked my ME once if I could write it if the opportunity came along, and she laughed and said "Sure." She was one of the good leaders.

The Post has never been the same to me after hearing Public Enemy's Letter to the New York Post.

"Yo, New York Post, don't brag and boast.
Dissin' Flavor when he's the butter that you put on your toast..."

If I send them a packet and include errors I find in their copy, do you think that would fly more at the NYP where they might like ballsiness?

Every time this gets bumped, I keep hoping someone from the NYP will have logged on and told me I'm hired.

    :(

A reporter I had filling in for me when I had surgery typed "No more signs" as a teaser hede on the rail for a story about elections being over. There was also a teaser photo of political signs there.

When I surprised the newsroom by coming back on deadline day, the production manager asked me if I wanted to change it. I said "nah, I think we can keep it." My reporter liked that. ;)

This job does not get the seal of approval.

The last guy Gallo hired last five months before he went to the Daily News.
