    Great bars and .... well .... that's about it.

    The only change Butte will ever have is when there's finally a little rumble on that fault line and the whole town turns into a huge sink hole.

    What's really strange about this is that the Boise paper just outsourced its printing to the Press-Tribune.
    You'd think a whole mess of money would be coming the Press-Tribune's way thanks to that.

    It's not a bad gig for the right person and I agree Phil would be really good to work for. Spoke with him at length about the position a month ago. They think and act bigger than the number would indicate.

    The downsides: you're the number two paper in the market (in the shadow of the Idaho Statesman). Staff of six (at a 21K paper) means a reduction in staff could be a real possibility if revenues drop.

    They'll get someone qualified. I don't have any doubt about that.
