The Dallas Morning News is seeking a full-time copy editor and page designer with experience working on sports sections. The ideal candidate has strong design, copy-editing and headline-writing skills as well as solid news judgment. We’re looking for a collaborative editor who thrives under daily deadline pressure and can also juggle advance work. Web production skills are a plus. Hours vary, but all involve night shifts, weekends and holidays. Other Requirements:

    · Bachelor’s degree.

    · 2 to 5 years of daily newspaper experience.

We offer a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits package. To apply please reference Sports Copy Editor and send resume and clips to Denise Beeber, news editor: dbeeber@dallasnews.com
