The Grand Rapids Press is accepting applications for interns for a possible sports copy desk position beginning in early September. We use InDesign and InCopy. Submit a resume, cover letter and five of your best work examples.
    This is a paid internship.
E-mail to aangelo@grpress.com. You may also mail to The Grand Rapids Press, 155 Michigan St. NW Grand Rapids, MI 49503, attention Andy Angelo.

Wow, a paid internship. I didn't know those existed anymore. Wait to go GRP.

Well it's cheaper than hiring for those beat positions they posted and then decided not to fill.

PM if you want any additional details, but here's the basic stuff you need to know...

There are a lot of great people on the desk at this place. You'll be hopping to get stuff in (the GRP serves as the regional hub to paginate three Booth papers), but the pay is pretty good and you'll have a lot of fun. Still a PM paper, but the copy is put together the night before. Hope this helps. :)

The pay is good for an internship?

I've heard their internships are paid and it's pretty decent money.
