    Well, for all the handwringing over who would be interviewed and who wasn't, congrats to Mike. Having read his work, he should be great, and he already knows the area, which is a huge bonus.

    Makes a lot of sense. He has extensive time on two of the pro beats he'll be writing about. So do they fill the Dolphins job or promote from within until they can dissolve a position?

    Look for Sun-Sentinel to promote from within and, as mediaguy suggests, dissolve a position.

    Very good hire. This is not a knock on the younger guys who interviewed, but it's nice to see a true veteran rewarded for years and years of hard work.
