    Not sure how Dallas is 3rd but always like looking at this nonetheless.

    Little bit more credible than ESPN's No. 1 choice (Valdosta, Georgia).

    Wow the cities who made this list must be beaming with joy tonight. The Sporting News is such a relevant publication these days.

    Those namec no doubt are getting the sign painters lined up to add that fact to their welcome signs.

    I frankly don't really care for these kinds of features -- how do you quantify stuff like this? -- but i do really like the concept of SportingNewsToday (some of this appeared today) ... i read it every day ... wish there was a little more depth in their coverage but its a great snapshot of the entire national sports scene... and it feels like a newspaper to me, which being a newspaper guy, i really like...
