    Having spent a few years on a couple of news desks, I can say that most days, we wouldn't have run anywhere near 15 national news stories, and only on a big-paper day would we have run four international stories.

    Given the ever-shrinking news hole at most papers, the value of AP stuff is going to have to be re-evaluated. So maybe AP lite will work.
