Spoiled by the immediacy of the digital age

I usually buy several fantasy baseball magazines each year. For the most part, I just use them as a way to organize players. This year, I have refused to buy any of them because they all have Johan Santana still on the Mets.

I realize these things have rough deadlines, but Santana has been a Met for weeks now and it just feels ridiculous to pay $6-$8 for something that seems hopelessly out of date (in this era).

You probably mean they have Santana on the Twins, don't you? I'm smart like that.

It's ridiculous to pay $6-8 for anything the deals exclusively with fantasy baseball.
