    Hell of a season. It's the randomness of a typical episode that makes it so strong. What they don't say resonates as much (if not more) than what they do say.

    You know, I really liked Southland but lost track of it along the way. Just looked it up and I'm now three seasons off the pace. It's one of those things though where I would have to go back and watch the first two seasons again. Hopefully it'll pop up on Netflix at some point.

    I'm kind of surprised that the show has lasted along as it has. Didn't they have a cull of cast members between the first two seasons due to budget issues?
