Having been burned by a late scratch for the coming semester, The Nashua Telegraph sports department has an opening for an intern to start in January. It's a 100 percent desk job, so some familiarity with Quark and the AP Stylebook would be great, but we'll teach the basics.
Since it pays minimum wage, and it takes about twice that to find a place to live in these parts, you would pretty much have to live in southern NH or northern Mass. to make the commute.
Anyone interested (in the this semester or the future) should contact me at agreenwood@nashuatelegraph.com or 603-594-6427.

If nothing else, the dude's honest about the pay/living expenses.
He could have put "competitive pay" or some b.s. like that.

I don't know Alan well, but I will say that the people on that sports staff are really good folk.

I've always thought the Telegraph's choice of fonts interesting. Same thing with the Bucks County Courier. Different than most.

I hear they are kick ass at pick-up hoop during the summer months?

Anyone looking for info on the place feel free to PM me.

Hackers that some of them are! Especially the big man in the middle.

There's this news side copy editor that put me, half his age, to shame with his array of shots, etc. Swingin' Sherm is a beaut.
