Southern Conference football media day

    The Southern Conference is holding its football media day July 26 in Spartanburg, S.C. I can provide coverage for same day online/next day print as needed or league or team previews for preseason preview sections closer to season.

    I had almost 40 years daily newspaper experience at Greenville, S.C., before being nudged out the door under Gannett's "early retirement" program in April.
