The Weather Channel is reporting tornados on the ground in Arkansas, Missouri and Mississippi and severe thunderstorms from Chicago to Dallas.

I think they're lying about the storms in Dallas.

Could be. On the maps it looks like the tail end of the line of storms is just east of the Metroplex.

That system passed through here late afternoon. 20 minutes of thunder and lighting, and a five minute period of all-out Noah-style downpour, but not twisters.

The freaking Cardinals were trying to play through the start of that line in St. Louis as of about an hour ago.

I got my hatches battened down.
    Tornadoes all around me tonight.
Between the dog freaking and the tornado siren, it is going to be a long night.

I knew Nashville was taking a pounding from this storm, but not like THAT.
