    Description:

    The Post and Courier is looking for an experienced, enterprising sports reporter to cover the University of South Carolina from Columbia. This highly motivated individual will cover all aspects of USC athletics, major and minor. Must have a proven track of writing solid game stories on deadline, engaging features and in-depth enterprise work. In addition to print, it is critical this person is comfortable working on multiple digital platforms -- social venues such as Twitter and Facebook, blogging, and posting for dissemination on mobile and web platforms.     I can speak highly of a person or two at the Post and Courier. I know people in the region care about the Chickens, and I'm not aware of the staff at the school being difficult.

    The opportunity to do good work is certainly there. Good luck to all who apply ... the competition for this position should be fierce.
