South Carolina basketball beat writer, The State

    The State Newspaper and GoGamecocks.com are seeking an aggressive beat reporter to cover University of South Carolina basketball. The beat includes coverage of the men's and women's teams. The USC women are the defending national champions, and the men played in the Final Four this past season. The USC women's team led the nation in attendance for the third consecutive season, and the men's team ranked among the top 25 in attendance this past season. This digital-first position places a strong emphasis on breaking news and analysis.

    We are moving quickly, so we will be accepting applications through Aug. 18.
