South Bend offering buyouts

    I thought this would've already been posted, but I guess not.

    A couple weeks ago, South Bend had a meeting in which everyone was basically offered a buyout. It was for all departments and divisions, I think, not just the newsroom.

    The higher-ups are looking to cut about 25-30 positions before the end of the year.

    I know the sports department has lost one part-timer and will lose a full-timer after football season is over.
