question: would you rather have a cheater like sampson? or a hard ass like knight?

Seeing as he's Australian, not English, is should probably be 'mate'.

As in 'Coach Sampson, yer fired mate.'

Nice piece by Mark Schlabach on the whole mess.

Ah well, then let's throw another shrimp on the barbie.

Had one dealing with Sampson, thought he was a smug ass. So I'll just delight in his cheating ass getting the boot.

I've heard the ol' mate-bomb dropped on many a trip to Ol' Blighty. GB.

Yes, but 'Mate' is to Australia as 'Guv'nor' is to England.

We should remember that Kelvin has merely been accused of these "crimes" and needs to be given a chance to perhaps be cleared.
If he does rectify his image/clear his name, he's got a hell of a record for a new coach at a program that size.

He's due, it looks like for multiple conference titles and NCAA Final Four appearances at this rate.

Uhh...no we don't need to remember that. He was on probation for this phone call bullshit when he left Oklahoma, and he did it again right away at Indiana. He deserves to be fired for stupidity if nothing else.

When does Rhoden play the race card on Sampson's behalf?

Yab, Sampson is not African-American, a point you seem to be unaware of in these race-baiting Sampson/Rhoden posts you keep dropping. I don't believe Rhoden has any history playing the Lumbee tribal race card. Please stop trying to turn the Sampson discussion into a racial issue when there's no basis for it whatsoever. Absolutely nobody but you has tried to take it there.

My bad, guess Rhoden won't come to his defense.

You were right, and then wrong, and now right. Rhoden's defense of the indefensible:

The only person quoted in the column is a pro-Sampson professor at the University,a professor of Afro-American studies.

Race card dealt, from the middle of the deck.
