Sosa hits 600th homer

    It's possible that was an editorial comment about the unwritten rules of voting. I know reasonable people who think if a person is good enough for the Hall of Fame, you vote accordingly whether it's his first time on the ballot or his fifth. I'm not saying they're right or wrong, but that could be the thinking behind the post in question.

    No and really don't expect one. He didn't have anything to say when Bonds hit 600 or 700 and nothing when he hit 715.

    Bud Selig is an idiot. Steroids or not (none of which has been proven), this guy just hit his 600th home run. He's the fifth guy to do it.

    You'd think it'd warrant some sort of comment, even if it's just "Good Job Sammy" in a damned press release.
