Sorenstam to retire

    It just jumped out at me, and wanted to get others' feelings. Apparently I'm overreacting. Happens often. :)

    Great for her. How refreshing, walking away from a sport that you really don't have to walk away from. Her husband's a very lucky guy.

    Good for Annika. She found out that life outside of golf was something she would really like.

    The only drawback? I think she and Lorena Ochoa could have put together a nice 1-2 punch for top draw on the LPGA Tour. And I'm not sure there would have been a classier 1-2 punch in sports.
