SOPA: End of the internet as we know it?

    I'm really hoping the major sites (Google, YouTube, etc) follow through with their threats to shut down for 24 hours as a protest against it. That might wake people up about it.

    There has been push back and wavering from Internet-related firms as of late. Some key politicians (notably Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan) have bailed on supporting it too.

    It and the companion senate bill are turds.

    Wikipedia going ahead with a 24-hour blackout on Wednesday to protest bills.
