Songbird's new title

The King and I would like to official announce Songbird shall be called, "The thread killer and lady thriller" for his efforts in locking yet another thread.

Well done, Songbird.

There will be no questions for Songbird. He did release this statement:

"Well, throughout my life spanning not only America but several exotic countries, too, I've come to be known as a 'thread thriller and lady killer.' But after seeing JDV's success as a thread killer and lady thriller I thought to myself, I thought, there must be a way to usurp his title with a few foul thread-posting swoops.

So yeah, I feel good about my accomplishment. I feel like I just scoreboarded a room full of proveably, demonstrably 19-35 Raiderettes from Vacaville with killer bodies.

Today, after getting my second popular thread locked, I feel like the luckiest man alive."

 

When a post expressly declares its "goal" to be getting the thread locked, it might be more logical and productive for the moddies to deal with the poster rather than the thread. Giving the guy exactly what he requested is not the best deterrent.

That said, X still has a LONG way to go before he can match boots' thread-killing resume.

Well, technically, Gutter was the last poster on the JDV thread; post musta got lost in Internet Orbit (which would be a good title to a book).

Anyhoo, I try not to kill threads. Have fun on them? Sure. Kill'em? Naw.

MMac, I wasn't trying to get it locked, either. Never been a stated goal of mine.

Damn. After reading BBAM's post, I went in search of the open letters thread, thinking it was locked. When I realized it was JDV's latest pablum center that got locked, I thought, Who the fuck cares?
