I dated cross country runners in high school.

I didn't have a choice in college once all the people on the team decided to go to Olive Garden the night before races, wherever we were. The only time we went to a family-owned place was in New York City.

And where were you when I was in high school?

I was a cross country runner. It was actually a great place to meet chicks. Although the stupid-ass uniforms made even the most macho guy look like a fruit-loop. God I hated those.

    Most likely.
Cross country is the worst sport to cover, though easy in the sense that you just stand at the finish line and wait.
I dated a cross country runner in high school and broke up with her soon after she told me in every race she runs she pisses herself because she can't control her bowels after a certain point in the race.

    That's a piss-poor reason to dump someone.

So I spent most of December in a cave. What was the Songbird bet?

My first real girlfriend was a cross-country runner, my fellow captain my senior year of high school. My next girlfriend was on my track and field team in college and she was a long and triple jumper. It's a way to meet women, but it's also a way to meet some strange women. The uniforms are not the most flattering in the world, but we had spandex half-tights in indoor and outdoor track.

Seems like that would lead to some awful chafing.
