One of the more bizarre pairings you'll see on a Beatles song ...

I love some of the pairings/covers that they do at the Grammys or tribute concerts. The best concert I've ever seen on TV was the Freddie Mercury Tribute concert. Roger Daltrey doing "I want it all" Robert Plant doing "Innuendo" Bowie and Lennox doing Under Pressure, and of course, Elton John and Axl Rose doing Bohemian Rhapsody, which was just awesome.

The London Calling tribute was freaking awesome.

I'd have to go back & check my memory against the videos, but at the time I thought George Michael was the best stand in.

I remember him being there. I don't remember what song he did.

    Somebody To Love

One of the finest musical performances I've seen.

George Michael also did a great stripped down " '39" and a great duet of "These Are the Days of Our Lives" with Lisa Stansfield.

Extreme's Queen medley, the Bowie stuff I mentioned earlier, and Seal doing "Who Wants To Live Forever" are the best from that show, for my money. One of the greatest concerts ever.

If the Mac Brown, Bruce Springsteen & Dave Grohl collaboration had included John Fogerty as vocalist, it would have been outstanding!
