    I read something else about it, not this girl but I think something in Texas Monthly about the whole case. It was pretty shameful, back then there was a political reason that Houston didn't want to be known as the place with the most prolific serial killing (I know, why not right?) so they kept refusing to classify the missing boys as part of the same crime or pattern, which of course shackled any hope of an investigation.

    About halfway through this right now, and amazingly enough the horrifying part isn't the night she spent with the murderers, it's the way her father and stepmother treated her growing up.
