    Well no shit.

I have a month's paycheck saying T.O. suffers as well.
  2. Wasn't Haley the dude who used to whip out his Johnson all the time?

According to Pearlman's book on the Cowboys he was. To say he doesn't come out well in that book - as the DMN article notes - is an understatement.

Covered him in college. About as good a player as I've seen.
    Odd duck.

He didn't find those rings on the street.

Wasn't he traded twice and turned teams from a "could win a Super Bowl" to a favorite to win the Super Bowl?

Man, I assumed he had a bust at Canton.

    Something is wrong there.

You're right, though, he should be in the Pro Hall. Typos notwithstanding. Hasn't he been a finalist?

Haley's autobiography (yea, I read it) has two of the greatest chapter titles of all time: "Why Steve Young can't hold Joe Montana's jockstrap" and "Why George Seifert can't hold Bill Walsh's clipboard."

Pearlman's book mentions a 1991 incident in which Haley took a swing at George Seifert after the 49ers lost 12-6 to the Raiders. Haley was so out of control that the 49ers sent someone to the Raiders locker room to get Ronnie Lott to help calm him down.
