Someone break the news to Salvation Army about that Nigerian lottery it won

    OK, I think it stinks that someone duped The Salvation Army with fake checks. But how stupid are the people in charge of the money if they think they can go out and spend all this money before it's confirmed they even have it?

    what kind of weird piece of shit do you have to be to do that. unless i'm misreading they didn't gain anything but were messing with charities by letting them think they were getting a big donation?

    Hopefully the local community steps up and covers their losses,as is a lot of times the case in situations like this. Any time we do a story on a family that was burned out of their house we always get phone calls from readers wanting to know how to help.

    And I hope whoever was assigned to finances is re-assigned, for their own good.
