Don't worry Beej, I'll take care of business.

    As if.... :-\

  2. I think it's "Peej," because the sportswriter's name is PJ.
Beej would mean he name was BJ, as in Hunnicutt, and other things now that I think about it.

Um, I was referring to BYH (Beej) and my football semifinals match with Lugnuts.

    Two things:
    1. I didn't like 'Sports Night,' although I've never worked in television, let alone on a sports studio show.
    B. Why do women always dig movies that have singing or lip-synching scenes.

I hated Sports Night mostly because every character was insufferable and talked exactly the same way, in the type of witty banter and self-important repartee that human beings haven't engaged in on that kind of a regular basis since the Algonquin Round Table closed up shop.

And the fact that it was totally inaccurate, according to a producer friend of mine, didn't earn it any points from me either. Same thing with this show.

Props to Jamie Tarses for putting her dad on the show.
The legendary sportswriter was played by Jay Tarses.

  7. Creator, I believe, of the legendary Slap Maxwell.

The part where they were assembled for the news conference and started throwing out random suburbs and discussing restaurants was the best TV I've seen in the last 5 years.
