I got a hit off a guy last summer whose jersey number was 666.

I've always been partial to the team name "Master Batters"

One summer in the church softball league in my hometown, one of the teams asked for the scoreboard to be shut off because the score was 6-6 in the sixth inning, and the board read 6-6-6.

We drank a lot of beer when the park police weren't looking. Because our team was: 2 drink minimum.

Had to go chase down results from a summer AAU girls age group tournament once upon a time. The bracket had a team listed as the Desert Warriors. Got to the field that team was playing at and -- swear to God --the jerseys had an extra S.

After observing the width of some of those young ladies, I wasn't so sure "Dessert Warriors" wasn't a more accurate name.
