softball pet peeve

    The longest softball game I ever covered was about three hours, but it went 14 innings and ended 2-1.

    Yeah, but the worst part is that Futura is exactly right.

    The longest softball game I ever covered was at the state finals with one local writer gushing over his local teams. It never ended over the course of three days.

    My mother always taught me to learn something new every day. Well, I had no idea that in softball there is no mound and that they play in a "pitcher's circle." Thank you, FB, for my daily enlightenment.

    Notice the absence of the blue font. I'm being serious.

    Frankly, I prefer the girls' golf chant on that other thread:
