    I haven't worn a pair of white socks (of any kind) more than a decade. I don't even own a pair. Short black socks for shorts (and jeans) and athletic black socks for work. But man this is a strange thread.

    That's right, sport the knee high white socks pushed down below your calf, just like we did in the early 90s

    I wear short, ankle-high socks with just about anything, even if that's dress shoes and slacks ... I really just don't care what type of socks go with what. Also, I always wear them inside out. Just more comfortable that way. I've rocked the socks and sandles look a few times over the past few years, I must admit.

    Only time I wear socks that aren't short is at sporting events. If I'm watching a game and one of my teams is playing, I gotta wear my lucky tube socks. Same thing goes if I'm playing softball:

    If I can find any socks that match, I wear them.

    Hard to come by around here with my dog carrying them around and leaving them in random places.
