Social Security Administration: 'Passing gas' = 'hostile work environment'

    The SSA officially reprimanded a guy in its Baltimore office because he couldn't (or wouldn't) stop farting at his desk, and the resulting odor created a "hostile work environment." The reprimand has been rescinded after it was posted on The Smoking Gun.

    Well, fart on them, too. This sort of thing is a medical issue and more akin to, say, coughing or burbing than smoking.
