SoCal quake

    5.0 one mile south of San Bernardino. No word on damage. Just talked with my brother, who is about eight miles to the west, and they're good, nothing even off the walls. Said it was a decent jolt.

    5.0 is a good shaker. Could do some damage but nothing major.

    Felt it down here near S.D., too.

    Haven't had one hit that close to San Berdoo in a while. There was a nice roller up near the 215/15 split about two years ago.

    One mile south of S.B. could be right under the 10-215 interchange, which I always cringe going over from east to north because it's on a riverbed. Definitely been a while since that area got good-size shaker.
