    Isn't that what you came here looking for? It's certainly naive to expect you were only going to get 'you go, girl!' responses, especially considering the misgivings you've expressed.
    Had you said any of that in a job interview, you'd be at the bottom of the hiring pool.

    I was merely stating that I'll learn from what everyone has posted on this thread, the good and the bad. Even what you have just posted. "Damnit" was in a lighthearted tone. Again, thanks for your input. Having become a bit addicted to this site, I have found tremendous nuggets of information about both writing and sports. I think it's great. I'm looking forward to, with due diligence, working/stringing/or freelancing at whatever newspaper is kind enough to have me.
