So with the politics board closed, do you find life a little more boring?

I do. Bear with me for a minute.

A good argument always helped me mentally cleanse myself of all the day's junk...focusing on something else.
Now I look over the regular boards and I just can't get as stimulated. BCS? Yawn. Even wrestling is getting lame.

Or maybe it's my SportsJournalists.com politics board addiction.

So what 12-step approach are you doing, if you can relate ???

 

Go find another board to talk politics.

 

A couple of gallons of bleach and, then, pounding it out with a ballpeen hammer should do the trick.

I feel like I'm a football fan on the biggest game day of the year, sitting in the middle of a Museum Auxilary meeting and talking stuff just to be talkin'. Or, like the WWE rivals standing around talking about a bake sale when you know they want to rumble. lol.

I can't even get write nasty emails to Fox and CNN anymore.

I guess I'll spend more time throwing a frisbee to my dog.

When we sign onto this site, we agree to play by the rules made up by the mods, particularly the owner of the site. It's his call. You don't like it? Go somewhere else.

 

Actually, the politics board was boring and predictible. It's a place for everyone to say the same things over and over again and try to come up with cutest flippant insult. That's boring.

 

I was about to say that you need to find a hobby, but chances are, this IS your hobby. I'm not quite sure how to express my feelings toward people who spend their time bitching to cable networks. I think I just feel bad for them.

Anyway....it's lunch time. I'd like to have some pizza, but steamed veggies and some chicken will have to do.

 

Maybe someone will create one someday and make exact copies of everything that goes on at SJ.
