Not so bad if you're already at a lodge.

I flew to Sactown this past June for a friend's wedding. When we touched down at Denver's airport to switch planes, we saw snow flurries.

Just glad I'm not going to Denver any time soon, I know that much.

I want to know why none of this damned snow is falling here. Fuck the weather gods!

    I'll go. I haven't seen snow accumulate since 1993.

On my way there next month. All this should be great for the skiing ... assuming I can get from the airport to the mountain. Up to 117 inches of base, and the three feet expected in the next three days will get the few remaining closed double-blacks open in time for my arrival/stupid decision/horrific tumble/trip to the hospital.

Seriously, even for a town used to heavy snow, this is a ton. They are equipped for bad weather but a blizzard every two weeks has to put a strain on the equipment.

Buddy apologized for not returning my call because he was out shoveling snow. We complain when it's 60 and breezy.
