So, what happens when the world's largest 10k has no place to finish?

Peachtree Road Race searching for new finish line because of drought. Georgia Tech turns it down and gives a dubious reason. 55,000 people jeopardizes campus safety, they say. Uh, Bobby Dodd Stadium seats --- 60,000. Hmmmm

I grew up in Atlanta and know how big the Peachtree is and all, but sheesh, wouldn't it be kind of nice to NOT run a 10K on July 4 in Atlanta one year? Take a year off until this drought (maybe) resolves itself.

I dunno... maybe if they moved the date to, oh, something less humid and hot...

Yeah, right, like 60,000 people ever go to a GTech football game.
