    Comparing a baseball team's success to that of the Cubs is like comparing one's skill at philosophy with that of Ayn Rand. Or comparing one's skill as a broadcast journalist with that of Michael Irvin...

    Wrigleyville wasn't always the yuppie Disneyland it is now. Used to be a solid working-class Polish 'hood. And there's still pockets of non-obnoxiousness, I guess. Haven't been there in years.

    There's a difference, though. Take away the bandwagon jumpers, and Wrigley would still sell out. Take away the bandwagon jumpers from the Braves, and you get what you have now -- sparse attendance.
