So much for hoping ESPN would not shove the AFL down our throats

    Until today, I didn't know Mike & Mike were going to be the lead announcing team for the AFL on ESPN. I might watch a few minutes just to see how they pull that off.

    The Iowa Barnstormers moved to New York after the 2000 season and were renamed the Dragons. Can't imagine why the Arena League would want a team in the largest media market in the country ...

    Anywho, there was an af2 team named the Iowa Barnstormers that formed after the original Arena League Barnstormers left for NY, but that team folded after one year. They are considering bringing it back in time for the 2008 season. Yeehaaa ...

    And if you think the Arena League blows, get a load of af2. 8)
