    Ace, check out Fudgie's post. It is insensitive to Jewish people.

    Edit: Note I'm sticking to the Hitler comment. The other one was dumb, but I'm not sure there is any particular group that it is offensive to.

    No, she shouldn't. That is why I think the term insensitive is fitting. I don't think there was any intent to dismiss the actions of Adolf Hitler or the concerns of Jewish people her part. I doubt she even thought about it in those terms. But she should have, and that thought should have stopped her from writing it.
