  1. Mother of god.
Even factoring in what this woman is going through, and the fact that it is Fayetteville, where the military is the local industry, the notion that, as soon as a feckless incompetent sends the army somewhere, all criticism must cease belongs in a country where we dress our leaders up like soldiers and pose them on balconies.
Rebekah lives in a different country than I do.

Feckless incompent, according to the Wisdom of FB.

Of course, we should all bow and scrape and revere the expoundings of the wise and powerful FB.

When are you running for Prez? Can't wait to vote for you.

Feckless incompetent is almost a compliment.

Given the utter lack of credibility of this administration's foreign policy, it's no wonder defenders are left to try to kill the messengers.

If this administration had told their version of the truth, at the beginning: "We're going into Iraq to establish a major military beachhead in the Middle East, while keeping a close eye on all that oil
our Saudi friends control . . . " . . . wonder how that would have gone over with the broad U. S.
    population?

Yep, those neocons . . . what cards they were -- and are.

The Wolfowitz schtick sounds great in some echo-chamber think tank.'

Then, you try it for real . . .

    Oh, darn.

    Maybe next time.

There have been a great many movers of war in the history of this country, and Wimpy Wolfy is the weakest of them all, in all things considered.

Let's see, Henry Knox vs. Paul Fucking Wolfowicz ... yeah.

    And so on.
