So bad that I don't know what to name the thread - more local TV news (SFW)

The local news TV commercial/video. Honestly, I thought they were bad with their other commercials. This puts it over the top. I seriously turned red in the face when I watched this. I'm embarassed. I don't know if I should laugh or cry at how horrible this is.

Eh. I think the anchors' fist pound towards the end saves it.

Interesting... did the bald guy throw t-shirt or his toup into the crowd?

And this isn't an indication of my sexuality, but did anyone else find the women uglier than the men?

First two minute promo for a TV news show I've ever seen.
    Catchy tune, though. :)

Wow, why not just pony up the money and have John Mellencamp sing something?

I get your point, NDub, but I've seen a lot of these from a number of markets and while it definitely takes the usual news promo up to 11 (Thanks, Nigel) its no worse or better than the others ones I've seen.

That fist bump, however, was a bit much.

I think Chevy has proven he has a price.

  9. They did represent Indiana well with the white people clapping on the ones and threes instead of the twos and fours. And they should've just called the guy John Mellencan't.

Fort Wayne is really the first local TV market I've paid any attention to. So outside of that I have no clue how bad local TV news sucks other than what some posters here say. I just moved to Muncie (Ball State grad school) and am going to check out the Indy market for comparison. Fort Wayne's Indiana's Newscenter is so bad anyway. Getting around some FCC laws, Granite (WPTA - ABC affiliate) basically bought out one of the other 2 local stations (in 2004) and does all of the operating. Sadly, the NBC affiliate (WISE) is the exact same newscast with just a different anchor. So we're double exposed to this crap in Fort Wayne.

The bald guy is the head sports guy. I always wondered where his toupee went. Some lucky 17-year-old probably made millions on eBay.

And the network does have one very attractive reporter: Nicole Pence http://www.indianasnewscenter.com/newsteam/default.aspx#3347. You can only see her bust, but trust me on this. She was the sole reason I even turned it on.

What kind of piece of crap way of posting this video did they use? Or did my computer just hate it so much that it kept skipping and pausing and buffering on its own?

    This screams "minor league operation."

Since TTIUWOP, and I am bad with photo links, here is a Google link with several of her:
