    When you get on the lift, only your forward foot should be in the binding. There should be a "stomp pad" between your bindings (it's a grippy pad that you can stand on without being in the binding). When you get off, you stand up as you would normally, except you put your rear foot on the stomp pad. The momentum from the lift will push you forward and you use your front foot to steer.
