Or we could have Jim Carrey's impression of Joe Biden's impression of Jeff Goldblum instead.

Maya Rudolph's Kamala was awesome as ever. And Kenan as the reincarnation of Herman Cain ... wow.

Lots of people twitter hating this ep, this host.
I kind of liked it. Noon normal and mafia skits made me spit. Cold opening was good, tho a bit long. I even liked Bill Burr's monologue (and so did two of my gay friends re: the pride stuff), but he's being ripped for it.
Ah well, at least he made me laugh.

And this one. (SNL consistently does a wicked Boston.)

Thoroughly enjoying white women losing their minds and playing right into Burr's hands with this one.

I hadn't watched SNL live in a long time, and enjoyed most of the sketches.

Most importantly, Jack White and his band kicked ass. A COVID-inspired reworking of "Ball and Biscuit"? And a brief shout out to Eddie Van Halen during a solo? Pretty awesome considering he was a late fill-in.

I mean, Twitter hates everything, but it REALLY hates SNL. The right wingers hate it, and while I'd say its mostly left of center in its skits, its occasional jabs at progressives alienate the other dominant population of Twitter.

I give comedy so much more leeway than everything else.

It’s pretty hard for a comedian to offend me. I’m open to almost any perspective in that setting.

Just be funny. Burr is pretty funny.

And watching Jack White made me realize how much I miss going to concerts.

Jack White is one of the reasons I love living in Nashville.

Second to Krystal’s but ranked above Arnold’s?

Terrible episode tonight. A couple laughs in update, one halfway decent skit but the rest was dumb.

I chuckled at Aidy's WU appearance and a few sketches (the defending Black politicians sketch hit home), and I am just sold on Bieber at this point. The rest of the episode was terrible. If Biden wins, I really hope that Lorne invests in his cast because Maya is beginning to seem forced and I can't do this Jim Carrey impression for much longer.
